what's the plot well The film will take place as an Origin story based around the original Ratchet and Clank , but may incorporate elements from the later games. The film will show how Ratchet and Clank met each other. The two characters will unite to fight against the film's main antagonist, Chairman Drek, who aims to destroy all planets within the Solana Galaxy. Ratchet and Clank stumble onto a dangerous weapon capable of destroying entire planets, and they must team up with a team of colorful heroes called the Galactic Rangers (from Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal) in order to save the galaxy.
The film will feature returning voice actors from the series, reprising their original roles from the video games. James Arnold Taylor as Ratchet, a lombax David Kaye as Clank, a Ratchet's robot sidekick, and Jim Ward as Captain Quark.The film will tap on Insomniac Games' vast asset library from their Ratchet & Clank video games, while creating their own new unique locations and characters.
The film will be presented in 3D CGI, and will work with the in-game models during the pre-visualization stage to help block out the film. Insomniac's writer, TJ Fixman, is writing the script.
